Jerry Smittkamp Joins Brown Cargo Van
LAWRENCE, Kan - January 20, 2012 - Brown Cargo Van is proud to introduce Jerry Smittkamp, the newest member of their sales team. Smittkamp was hired on October 15, 2011 and is based out of Denver, Colorado.
Smittkamp has been in the truck and van body industry for nearly four decades and brings a long history of van body knowledge to the Brown Cargo Van team. Prior to joining Brown Cargo Van, Smittkamp worked at Timpte Van Body and Alfred Industries, both of which manufactured van bodies in Denver.
"Being in the van and equipment business since 1973, I was looking for a manufacturer going in the same direction I felt my business was headed. Brown was the best company out there for developing the Colorado region, as they can also provide specialty equipment for customers I have in other locations," says Smittkamp. "The quality of the product and their ability to design and build whatever is needed is second to none."
Currently based in Denver, Colorado, Smittkamp is working with Brown Cargo Van to increase customer access to Brown products in the Colorado area. "We are looking forward to the opening of a facility in Colorado and are looking forward to many years of successful operation" Smittkamp added.
In the three months since he began working at Brown Cargo Van, Smittkamp has already developed a strong network of dealers and installers in the Denver area who can install and work on Brown Cargo Van products.
